I print my hand drawn designs on handmade mountain papers from Eastern Nepal. These papers are made from the bark fibre of lokta, a plant which grows above 3000 metres in the Himalayan foothills. This is a renewable resource and the fibre collection and paper manufacture create valuable employment in the hill areas. Because the paper is not absorbent like cotton it's perfect for achieving a crisp transfer line but it also makes my lino art delicate. (keep reading to see how to care for your art)

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR ART:
Please treat the artwork like you would a watercolor painting.
The artwork will be ruined by prolonged exposure to liquids.
(I do coat each piece with a matte varnish to protect from UV rays)
To make your art last longer, you can arrange it under glass and put it out of the sun.
In the correct frame under glass, this piece will look beautiful and last a long time.
